How to configure Microsoft Outlook for use with Skytex.net

Now that you have broadband always-on internet access, you will need to tell Outlook Express that it has a new default connection.   Please note that set up for both Skytex.net and Leonardonline.net are the same with the exception of the server name.

Open Microsoft Outlook, then click on the 'Tools' menu and then 'E-Mail Accounts'

Click the "Add a new e-mail account" button and click next

Now check the 'POP3' bubble and click next

Now type your information in the boxes provided.  Your User Name is your username without the @skytex.net or @leonardonline.net

After you enter your information, click the more settings tab.

When the dialog box opens, click the outgoing server tab at the top. Set your outgoing and incoming servers to mail.skytex.net.

Now check the box that says 'My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication'.  Then click ok and click ok again.
